WHAT IS FCCAPC?

Established in 1968 the Family Child Care Association of Pierce County is a professional support organization designed and managed by Licensed Family Child Care Providers.

FCCAPC GOALS

  • To promote quality childcare by educating parents and the community about the value of Family Home Child Care.
  • Add professionalism and credibility to the child care profession by collaborating with other organizations concerned with child care issues.
  • Enable networking with other child care professionals by sponsoring monthly General Meetings, trainings and special events.
  • Identify and provide educational opportunities that meet the needs of the Family Child Care Provider.

Pierce County Family Child Care Association will provide STARS training at each of the General Meetings.

MEETING INFORMATION

Please come join us for our monthly meetings held the second Wednesday of September, October, November, January, February, March, April, and May.

ADULTS ONLY PLEASE.

You need not be a member to attend. First time attendees may come in at member price.

COST: $13.00 for members / $25.00 for non-members

Cost includes room rental, meal, speaker fees, tax and gratuity. Meals are prepared by Angeles Catering.

DIRECTIONS

From I-5 take 72nd St Exit #129 towards Tacoma Mall Blvd. Turn right on S. 78th, and then turn into the first driveway on the right. The Administration Bldg. & Cafeteria is the building on the left. We are located in the new Bates Home and Family Life building located directly behind the cafeteria. There is parking in the front and the back of this building.
